William McKinley was born January 29,1843 and died in September 1901. He served as governor of Ohio and also was a U.S Congressmen. In the 1896 elections, he ran against William Jennings Bryan, and won the popular vote. During his time as president, he went to war against Spain, and won. After his victory against Spain, he gave cuba their independence, and also won Puerto Rico, the Philippines, and Guam. During September 1901, he was assassinated by a deranged anarchist in Buffalo, New York. This photo is relevant to our topic, American Presidents, because he was the 25th president to lead the USA.
Theodore Roosevelt was born October 27, 1856 and died January 6, 1919. He was the 26th president was the US, and his terms lasted from 1901 till 1908. He believed in an order to stabilize American society, by working with or against capital and labor, isolationism, expansionism, conservationism, and many other things. During his presidency, he was known by his great actions he had completed. One was that he was known as “trust buster” because he fought and brought down some industrial combinations using the Sherman Antitrust Act. Another thing, he was known for was that during his presidency he was a conservationist, and set aside 200 million acres of natural land to become a natural park. This photo was relevant to our topic because it’s a photo of the 25th president.
William Howard Taft was the 26th president of the USA, his terms lasted form 1908-1912. He was born on September 15, 1857 and died in 1930. In his early years of politics, he became the protectorate of the phillipines. During his time in the phillipines, he drafted them their own constitution based of the United States constitution, and created a post of civilian governor. He became president due to hime following his ideals of following Roosevelt's plans, and his view on presidential power. Some of his achievements while president was his trust-busting efforts, creating Interstate Commerce Commision, and his support in some amendments. This photo was relevant to the topic because it portrays Taft while he was president.
Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the USA, he lasted about two terms from 1913-1921. He lived from 1856 till 1924, and during his life time he achieved many great achievements. Before he became president, he was a college professor, university president, and governor. Then he became president after winning the 1912 elections against two parties. During his time as president, he helped to establish many of the essential reforms that were needed during this time, like child labor reform. He tried his best to keep us out of World War 1, but failed to hold out and went to war against Germany. After World War 1, he won the Nobel Prize due to his peace keeping efforts during the meeting of the treaty to end World War 1. John Calvin Coolidge was the 30th president of the USA, and his terms lasted from 1923 till 1927. He became president after the death of President Warren H. Harding. He was a former republican governor of Massachusetts. Due to the previous president corruptness, he had to do some cleaning up, using his president powers. During his presidency, he put some tax cuts in play, and limited government spending. Some of his policies contributed to the cause of the Great Depression. This picture is relevant to our topic because it’s a photo of the 30th president, John Coolidge.

He feared the league, because they made you give up your territories. Henry Cabot view the league to be a monstrosity, however the league wasn't and it was a peaceful organization.
